Welcome to Weather Now.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use Weather Now, why it is collected, and how it is used.

Weather Now is designed with data minimization in mind. We collect only the information necessary to provide weather forecasts, manage subscriptions, display advertisements (FREE version only), and keep the application secure.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may process the following information.

Location Data

With your permission, Weather Now accesses your device location to provide accurate weather forecasts.

Location information is used only to display weather conditions and forecasts for your current location.

We do not permanently store your location history.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with your Google Account, Google provides the App with information necessary to authenticate you.

your Google account identifier

your display name

We never receive or store your Google password.

Google Sign-In is used only for:

restoring purchases
synchronizing subscription status across devices
identifying your account

Signing in is optional unless required for subscription management.

Subscription Information

To manage Weather Now PLUS and Weather Now PRO subscriptions, we store only the minimum information required to identify your subscription.

This includes:

Firebase User ID
subscription tier
subscription status

We do not store payment information.

Saved Locations

If you save favorite locations, those locations are stored only to provide quick access inside the App.

You may remove saved locations at any time.

Technical Information

We may receive limited technical information necessary for the operation of the App, including:

device model
Android version
application version
IP address (processed by service providers)
crash information

This information is used only to maintain compatibility, reliability and security.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information only to:

provide weather forecasts
determine your current location (with permission)
authenticate your account
restore subscriptions
synchronize subscription status across devices
provide saved locations
improve stability and reliability
display advertisements in the FREE version
comply with legal obligations

4. Advertising

Weather Now FREE displays advertisements using Google AdMob.

Weather Now PLUS and Weather Now PRO do not display advertisements.

Google AdMob may process:

advertising identifiers
device information
approximate location
technical information necessary for ad delivery

Advertising data is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

5. User Consent

Where required by law, Weather Now uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent for personalized advertising.

You may:

accept personalized advertising
decline personalized advertising

If personalized ads are declined, you may still see non-personalized advertisements.

You may change your consent preferences at any time through your device settings or Google's advertising settings.

6. Payments

All purchases are securely processed by Google Play Billing.

Weather Now:

does not collect payment card information
does not process payment details
does not store financial information

All payment information is handled exclusively by Google in accordance with Google Play Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

Weather Now uses trusted third-party services to provide certain functionality.

Google Play Billing
Google Sign-In
Firebase Authentication
Firebase Firestore
Google AdMob
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)

We do not sell your personal information.

with Google services required for authentication, subscriptions and advertising
